Tiger Dude, Free On Bond For Murder Charge, Is Released On Bond Again

You have to wonder what it takes for someone bonded out on a murder charge to have that bond revoked.

Tiger Dude Victor Cuevas was once again granted bond on his latest evading arrest charge.

Cuevas has already been brought back to jail for violating his bond on at least four other occasions.

The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s office says they filed a motion to revoke his bond on the murder case, but the judge has not yet granted that motion. That hearing is set for Friday.

Cuevas was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail for evading arrest in a Motor Vehicle over Sunday’s tiger incident.

KHOU reports:

“Cuevas was also previously charged with murder in connection with a shooting in Fort Bend County. That shooting happened the evening of July 14, 2017 at a shopping center in the 5600 block of W. Grand Parkway. Bond was set at $750,000 for that case, and Cuevas was arrested two weeks later at an airport when returning from Mexico. He bonded out.
In November 2020, Cuevas was arrested again for bond revocation, according to Fort Bend.”

Crime Stoppers Andy Kahan says, “why even bother having bond conditions that are repeatedly violated including being charged with additional crimes only to have our court system let defendants out time after time. What a waste of everyone’s time and resources. Shame on our criminal justice system and shame on us for allowing shenanigans like this to occur."
