If the Democrat win, they want to expand the Supreme Court and add a number of liberal justices.
As NPR points out: “the Supreme Court has had nine justices for more than 150 years. But the Constitution doesn't require nine; the number is set by Congress.”
Even before Ginsburg’s death a number of Democrats including Kamala Harris have been pushing for them to pack the Supreme Court for liberal justices.
In an interview with Action2 News in Wisconsin, Biden was asked about the Democrat plan to pack the Supreme Court in retaliation for Republicans filling the Ginsburg vacancy.
Biden said:
“it’s a legitimate question. But let me tell you why I'm not going to answer that question: because it will shift all the focus. That’s what he wants. He never wants to talk about the issue at hand. He always tries to change the subject.”
If we truly had an unbiased press, this is the question they would be pressing Biden on until he answers. But instead, they'll pretend like this never happened because either way he answers, it will undoubtedly hurt him.
