In a bizarre story out of Canada, a woman drove onto a frozen river and then, in the process of being rescued, scrambled atop her car to snap a selfie before the vehicle was completely submerged in the frigid water. The very odd incident reportedly took place in the city of Manotick on Sunday afternoon when residents spotted a yellow sedan that was inexplicably speeding along the frozen Rideau River at what is believed to have been a whopping 40 miles per hour. The wild stunt took an even stranger turn when the car came to a stop and the weight of the vehicle was too much for the ice to bear, leading to an impromptu rescue operation launched by worried witnesses who had been watching the weirdness unfold and became concerned for the safety of the unnamed driver.
