#1 Alabama 45 #22 Texas A&M 23
Saturday's game was looking like it could be the first and only test for #1 Alabama until November rolls around, that was not the case. #22 Texas A&M nearly knocked off #2 Clemson earlier this season so the showdown in Bryant-Denny was showing potential to go down to the wire. Yet again, the Tide showed they were just too good as they lead the Aggies 31-13 before securing the win 45-23.
Tua Tagovailoa was a machine yet again as he threw for 387 yards and 4 touchdowns while rushing for another. Damien Harris and Najee Harris led ground game as they combined for 95 yards rushing. While no one eclipsed 100 yards, Henry Ruggs, Jerry Jeudy, and Irv Smith all had more than 75 yards receiving. On the day, Alabama pumped out 524 yards of offense.
Alabama has a cupcake party this Saturday as they host the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns in Bryant-Denny at 11am on the SEC Network.
