The advice that is given about what you should do around the holidays about the food situation and animals should be for all year long. Make sure when you are preparing and serving your delicious faire, that the food is not left unattended where it can be pulled off of tables or counters. Make sure that you pay special attention to chocolate cake, onion dishes, cooked bones and dark turkey meat and skin. Pay attention to the size of your animal and don’t overload them with treats.
