Kentucky Governor Apologizes For Teachers' Strike Comments

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin is apologizing for his remarks that suggested the teacher walkouts left children vulnerable to harm, drugs and even sexual assault.  Bevin's remarks faced harsh criticism from lawmakers on both sides of the political aisle.  Yesterday, Bevin posted a video to his Twitter page saying his comments had, "unintended consequences."

He added that many people have been hurt or just misunderstood what he was trying to say.  Bevin stressed that it wasn't his intent to hurt anyone.
